Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge #17-Distress It

I am excited it's Monday! Not only is it Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge time, but I also go figure skating on Monday and Thursday. This is only my first year, but I really like it so far.

The challenge we have for you over at Karen's Doodles Kids is Distress It. I used Bath Time as my image and some papers I found in my Mom's scrapbook room. I picked a couple of my Mom's Cuttlebug folders too and then used her little wheel thingie distressing tool to rough up the edges. I put stickles on the bath bubbles for some sparkle too.

I hope you and your kids can play along with us this week, you could even win your very own Karen's Doodles image.

Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge # 16-Halloween/Fall

Karen's Doodles Challenge time is here and it's a fun one. Karen has so many really fun new images and I loved this little girl. Her name is Pumpkin Baby and I decided to make a Halloween card.

Octo3_2010_KDKids16

I did everything on my card myself, my Mom just helped me punch the tag, it is a really big punch and I didn't have enough muscles to get it punched right, but I did everything else myself.  Do you like the watermark my Mom bought just for me, I was so excited when she showed me.

I hope you like my card and I hope you will play along with us this week.  You could even win one your choice of a Karen's Doodles image just for playing along.

Blog Hop Time with Karen's Doodles!! KDKids15-Lace/Border

Karen's Doodles is hosting a blog hop today along with our bi-weekly challenge. Visit each team member's blog and leave a comment. We will be awarding random prizes of digi images chosen from the people who comment. If you arrived here from my mom Kelly's blog- Crafting Creatively you are on the right track. If not, start at the Challenge blog for a list of the DT members in hop order. In addition to our normal 3 winners, the Design Team will also pick a favorite entry who will be invited to join us as a Guest Designer for the month of October.

Here is my card using the theme LACE/BORDER, I have used Trick or Tweet as my image, along with some papers from my Mom and some really pretty golden lace too.  I did everything myself on this card including round the card corners.  My Mom didn't even have to help me cut anything.

I was so excited when my Mom told me that I was asked to stay on the Karen's Doodles Kids DT!  We were in Sandpoint on holidays and it was great.  I was sad when I was done my last challenge card, but not anymore now that I am staying on.  I think I may have missed a challenge because we were away, but I am back now.

Our challenge this week for you is POLKA DOTS and here is my card.

I used Workout Buddy as my image and some of my Mom's papers.  I drew out my very own sketch and followed it for my card!  My Mom also let me add stickles to the water and it is really pretty.

So I hope you can play along with our fun challenge this week, actually you have 2 weeks to play along with us, so that's even better.

Thanks for taking the time to stop and see my work.

Karen's Doodles Kids-Teacher Appreciation

It is time for another fun challenge at Karen's Doodles Kids challenge blog. This week we are asking everyone to make something for your teacher. I think I was supposed to make a card but I thought my teacher would really like this tin for her desk to put pens and pencils in.

It's hard to see the pretty flowers because the tin is round, but this is the best picture my Mom could get.  We also added Mrs. S in glitter glue for some nice sparkle, I really think she will like it!

I used Elephant Valentine for my image and my Mom added the message in the heart balloon.

I sure hope you can hop on over and see the rest of our DT work and play along with us this challenge.

Thanks for looking,

My First Card- KD Kids Challenge #1

Hello.  My Mom made me this blog so that I could show my creations.  She makes cards for Karen's Doodles (US Design Team) and I really like the images too.  Now I can play along with some of the kids challenges out there.

Here is my very first challenge card.

This is for Karen's Doodles Kids's Challenge Blog Challenge #1.  It is a recipe challenge and you need to have a Karen's Doodles image (I used Love At First Bite), 2 pattern papers, 3 buttons or brads and something black.  I picked out all of the supplies that I used today.  My Mom cut the papers but I did the rest, I even borrowed my Mom's Copic markers.

I hope you like my card and wll come back and see my next one!
